Nusach Hari B’nai Zion (NHBZ) welcomes Jewish families, singles, and seniors of all levels of religious knowledge and observance.  Religious, social and educational activities include daily minyan, weekly Lunch & Learns, active Sisterhood and Social Club, special Shabbat luncheons with guest speakers, social action programs, festive holiday parties and celebrations, and observance of Jewish traditions.

Special activities include monthly Carry-Out and Dine-in Pizza Nights, annual Kosher Chili Cook-off, Friday Night Shabbos Dinners, Lag B’Omer Pancake Breakfasts, Shoot for the Shul Golf Tournament, Movies After Dark; plus Rabbi Smason’s weekly email of Beyond Twelve Gates featured on the jewishinstlouis website.

Nusach Hari B’nai Zion provides an energetic hub for spirited children’s pogramming and a kaleidoscope of adult courses as well as an extensive Judaic library.  NHBZ, affiliated with the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations, is committed to Torah Judaism and engagement with the modern world.
