The PJ Library is a free program that supports families in their Jewish journey by sending Jewish-content books and music on a monthly basis to children from age six months to seven years.

Every book is accompanied by a reading guide that contains additional information about the book, explains key concepts and terms, suggests discussion questions or activities related to the book, and lists other children’s books of similar themes. Early childhood experts have selected a wide array of books and CDs relating to Jewish holidays, folktales and Jewish family life. The themes in the books are relevant to Jews in all streams of Judaism; thus, the program operates outside of the parameters of denomination or level of observance.

The generous support of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Michael and Leslie Litwack, the Trio Foundation of St. Louis, the Kranzberg Family Foundation, and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation enables us to bring The PJ Library subscriptions and programming to St. Louis area Jewish families.
