The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), an umbrella agency of 17 Jewish organizations and institutions, and 14 at large members, is funded by the Jewish Federation and is the public affairs arm of the organized Jewish community.  Guided by Jewish values, the JCRC educates, advocates and acts to advance Jewish interests in the public arena.

A community based agency, the JCRC promotes a just, democratic and pluralistic society, the security and safety of Israel and world Jewry; and contributes to the cohesiveness, strength and security of the local Jewish community.

JCRC also works to promote mutual understanding and harmonious relations among St Louis’ varied racial, religious, civic and ethnic groups through joint programming and coalition activities.

The JCRC educates and communicates positions, action alerts and background information to the community.
